Varadero Golf Club
Varadero Golf Club was designed by the famous Golfer and Canadian Golf course Architect Les Furber, is the first 18-hole golf course on the island of Cuba. If you enjoy a game then the course has its challenges, especially crosswinds on the 16th and 17th holes. Even if you don´t intend to play Golf, the Xanadú Mansion is at the golf Course and is part of the club house, situated on a rocky embankment called San Bernardino crags, this beautiful house was designed by architects Covarrocas and Govantes in 1927 for the Dupont family and French/American millionaire Irenee Dupont de Nemours.
