The Varadero Hop On Hop Off Tour buses are open-top double-decker transport perfect for moving around Varadero cheaply. The system is rather simple; you buy a ticket for 6 CUC and you can hop on and off as many times as you want during that whole day. With no less than 45 stops in Varadero you can basically visit anywhere you wish. The stops are located near the most prominent tourist attractions, all hotels in Varadero, the Varadero Dolphinarium, Park Josone, Museums, Varadero Beach bars and even Paladares in Varadero. Every half-hour a bus will pass by each stop, there being three buses in constant rotation throughout the day. The lower deck is air-conditioned and the upper deck is open-air and a perfect for the kids and to see the sights!

Located on 1st avenue in downtown Varadero, Josone Park, is characterized by its extensive gardens with a pleasant fresh water lake over which a large arched bridge spans. Over recent years, the manager of the park has slowly included other bird species like macaws, parrots, flamingos, and even ostriches. Great for kids and all the family, you can rent rowing boats to crisscross the lake while also seeing the lush gardens and impressive birds wandering around the grounds. There are various restaurants within the grounds for all tastes.
